Doodle fun, Part two

Right after yesterday’s crazy bubbles doodle, Google now lets you type into the main logo. With each keystroke you press, one more letter of the word Google gets colored. What is going on? Google keeps quiet. Yet.

Google Germany’s Press officer Stefan Keuchel does not come up with an explanation either:

Any key press brings color into the game – – what might that be about? 🙂

Maybe Google is introducing new AJAX powered search results, up to 30 search results per page, or streaming results today at its Special Search Event. In some hours, we might indeed know more: Google will hold a press conference at 9.30am PDT (5.30pm GMT) in San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art. Google Vice President of Search Products & User Experience Marissa Mayer, Google Director of Product Management Johanna Wrigh, Google Distinguished Engineer Ben Gomes, and Google Senior Staff Software Engineer Othar Hansson will speak at the event.
