When talking about the next version of Windows Live Essentials, we talked about its code name “Wave 4,” or about “Windows Live 2010.” Now, Francisco Martín García, related to Microsoft Iberia, has pointed out that the new version is not going to be called “2010,” but Windows Live Essentials 2011.
Windows Live Essentials 2011 contains the following applications:
- Windows Live Messenger
- Windows Live Mail
- Windows Live Writer
- Windows Live Sync
- Windows Live Companion
- Windows Live Family Safety
- Windows Live Photo Gallery and Movie Maker
- Bing Bar
You can look forward to a public beta in June 2010. The final Essentials 2011 is going to ship at the end of August.
