The developers of the microblogging platform Twitter have renovated the mobile website technically and optically. If you’re interested, get a first glimpse of the work at mobile.twitter.com.
A recently published post on the Twitter blog reveals that the mobile version works best with browsers implementing the WebKit. Among these are the default browsers of Android, iPhone, Nokia S60 and smartphones with Palm Web OS.
Design and technical features should be available on BlackBerry as well. However, the developers will perform some fine-tuning to achieve this.
In the coming weeks, the old mobile Domain ‘m.twitter.com’ will go offline. From then on, any incoming requests will get redirected to the new mobile website at mobile.twitter.com.
From the developers’ view, this new mobile site matches the microblogging platform much better. The team is interested in constructive feedback.
