Just in case you wonder about the announced release of the Windows Live Essentials (that is, the programs for your PC, like Live Mail, Live Messenger, Live Photo Gallery, Live Movie Maker, Live Writer, Live Toolbar and Live Family Safety) – they had been planned to ship Friday noon Redmond time (late evening in Europe). However, there is currently a delay in shipment because the Team is working extra hours to fix bugs that were encountered in the private RCs of the past days. It has been reported to me that there are new builds nearly every day now internally, and we can still expect the Essentials RCs to be released to the public as soon as possible. I will be updating this post when I get to know more details. (If you wonder about Messenger Plus! compatibility with the upcoming Messenger 2009 RC, I can only tell you that Patchou is/will be working on it and has a version to check out on his disk.)
