Did you google yet today? The Web gigant has launched the new search frontend with more than hundred small design improvements.
At the left hand in the results, you see an Options bar. It allows you to access various alternative types of searches, like Images, Blogs or Updates—displaying recent related tweets and news from the Social web. Refining your search is possible with the Options bar, too. For example, when you search for an image, you can choose to search only for specific colors.
Google has also made changes to its logo and shadow, as well as to the search results and links colors, which are now more brilliant. Marissa Mayer, Google VP Search Products & User Experience, states:
We want to ensure that the Google you use today is better than the one you used yesterday, and these latest changes open up many possibilities for future features and enhancements.
