Normally you would access the properties of a file or folder by right-clicking it, then selecting Properties from the appearing context menu. Did you know that you can open these properties without using your mouse?
- Select the file or folder using the mouse or arrow keys.
- Press the keyboard shortcut
Alt + Enter. - The “Properties of” dialog opens instantly.
You prefer using your mouse? Hold down the Alt key, then double-click the file, folder or application icon.
