YouTube has increased the duration limit for videos from formerly 10 to now 15 minutes. This is what YouTube announced recently. People are also getting invited to talk about themselves and thus obtain their 15 minutes of fame.
According to the YouTube team’s statement, this increase was possible due to the new technologies that were created in order to deal with copyrighted material. These softwares help to protect owner rights, who, among others, already had the possibility to upload longer videos than most people.
