Notes in your Windows Live Profile – discontinued 
The Windows Live team has chosen to discontinue the feature to leave notes within your friends’ Windows Live Profiles. Additionally, you cannot anymore send them Private Messages.
Starting from Windows Live Messenger 2011, your friends will always see your real name when talking with you. The name shown to your friends now originates from your Windows Live Profile. Thus, this is the place to look at when you want to change your display name in Messenger.
Do you love creating videos and sharing them with your friends? This has just got easier. Starting from today, you can add YouTube to your Windows Live Profile as Web Activity. How?
From now on, you can also invite your friends on AOL, Google and Hyves to Windows Live. You choose whether to import your complete address book at once or only selected contacts.
